Commissioning a Painting
Portraits are painted in high-quality oil paint on archival linen or hardboard panels that will last for many years, allowing them to be treasured by many generations. Also see other commission examples on the commissions page.
The process
Candace can work from your photos or set up an appointment for a photo shoot at your home. If your photos are provided, they must be high-quality, high-resolution images with good contrast and color. The more photos to choose from, the better. Once a photo is chosen, a small color layout may be created for your approval, and from there the painting can be completed. When the final painting is approved, delivery or shipping will be arranged.

Timeframe
Paintings will usually be completed within a few weeks, but timeframes may vary depending on the size and complexity of the subject, and on the artist’s schedule. If you have a special occasion for which you need the painting, she will try to accommodate that date if possible.
